PCCOE placement searches need careful metric labels. The official overall PCCOE table and the Computer Engineering department table answer different questions. For overall institute performance, the 2024-25 table lists average package 5.91 LPA, median 4.5 LPA and highest package 60.32 LPA. For PCCOE average package CSE and PCCOE CSE package, the CSE department data is more specific: the 2025 batch lists 214 placed students, highest 60.34 LPA, average 6.78 LPA and median 5 LPA.
Do not mix PCCOE-specific data with PCET-wide central placement claims. PCET centralised placement is relevant because PCCOE, PCCOER and PCU share a broader training and recruiter ecosystem, but a ranking page should still quote PCCOE-specific and branch-specific numbers when available. Highest package is useful for attention, but median, average, placed count and offer count are better for realistic counselling.
Placement comparison checklist
When comparing PCCOE with PICT, COEP, VIT Pune, VIIT, PCCOER or PCU, compare the same year and same metric. A 2024-25 average should not be compared with another college's 2023-24 branch average. A CSE branch average should not be compared with an all-branch institute average. For students choosing between PCCOE and PCCOER, PCCOE generally has higher cutoffs and stronger flagship perception, while PCCOER can be a practical backup in the same PCET ecosystem.
