Why ₹1,93,000 and ₹1,94,746 both appear: they are not two versions of one total. ₹1,93,000 is what the FRA approved PCCOE to charge as tuition plus development for 2026-27. ₹1,94,746 is what an Open-category Maharashtra candidate actually pays, because ₹1,746 of other charges sits on top of the approved figure. If you see ₹1.93 lakh quoted in one place and ₹1.95 lakh in another, that ₹1,746 is the whole difference — not a contradiction.

Reading note. Every figure above is the fee for one year of B.Tech in A.Y. 2026-27, on an FRA-regulated CAP seat. It already includes the university fee; it does not include hostel, mess or examination fees, and it is not the institute-level or NRI fee (both are below). PCCOE also collects a ₹25,000 caution deposit separately once your admission is confirmed, so keep that ready too. The FRA approves one fee per institute; the category totals are PCCOE’s own, from its 2026-27 fee sheet.

Statutory note. Under section 14(4) of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, an unaided institution must display its FRA-approved course-wise fee on its notice board and website. Where a college’s own page shows a different tuition-plus-development figure, the FRA-approved figure is the approved one.

PCCOE Fees for 4 Years B.Tech — What Is Actually Published

How to read this. This is history, not a forecast: it does not tell you what 2027-28 will cost, because the FRA approves each year separately. Do not multiply ₹1,94,746 by four either — PCCOE’s own NRI fee sheet charges the eligibility fee and insurance only in year one, so the first year is not a quarter of the course.

Institute-Level (Management Quota) and NRI Fees 2026-27

Read this before you compare. An institute-level seat in Computer Engineering costs almost three times an Open CAP seat in the same programme: ₹5,80,746 against ₹1,94,746 in year one.

PCCOE’s fees are regulated by the Maharashtra Fees Regulating Authority (FRA) — even as an autonomous institute, PCCOE cannot charge more than the FRA-approved tuition and development fee on a CAP state-merit seat. Hostel and mess are billed separately.

PCCOE Placements: Median, CSE Average Package, Highest Package & Recruiters

How to read these numbers. The median is the honest one: it is what the middle student got. PCCOE prints two official figures for the top offer — ₹60.32 LPA in its institute table for 2024-25 and ₹60.34 LPA in the Computer Engineering department’s 2025-batch figures — and its placement page lists a ₹60.34 lakh offer against LinkedIn. Neither document calls it an overseas posting. Do not plan around one offer: in 2024-25, 334 of the 992 students who sat for placements were not placed.

Top offers named by PCCOE: an undated recruiter list on PCCOE’s placement page names Uber (₹61 lakh), LinkedIn (₹60.34 lakh), Amazon (₹47.88 lakh), Data Insights (₹36 lakh), Commvault (₹33 lakh) and ZF India (₹32 lakh). These are single top offers, not what a typical student is paid.

The ‘1,500 to 2,000 students every year’ on PCCOE’s site counts students placed across all PCET institutes, not at PCCOE alone. PCCOE’s own 2024-25 row records 1,081 offers and 658 students placed.

PCCOE Akurdi vs. PCCOE&R Ravet

A common query for parents is the difference between the two campuses:

• PCCOE Akurdi: The flagship campus, older, higher cutoffs, and more established alumni network.
• PCCOE&R Ravet: A newer campus under the same trust.

In CAP they are two separate choices: PCCOE Akurdi is institute code 6175 and PCCOER Ravet is 6822, with separately approved fees (FRA codes EN6175 and EN6822). Put the wrong code in your option form and you are applying to the wrong college.

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE) was established in 1999 by the Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) and sits in Sector 26, Pradhikaran, Nigdi–Akurdi, in the Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial belt. It is a private, autonomous institute affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and approved by AICTE; it is not a government college.

Admission to PCCOE is strictly entrance-based and highly competitive.

A. MHT-CET (Maharashtra State Candidates)

Most seats go through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP): in 2026-27, 683 of PCCOE’s 1,050 seats were Maharashtra CAP seats filled on MHT-CET scores, and 157 were All-India CAP seats filled on JEE Main.

In 2026 CAP Round I, Computer Engineering closed at 97.15, IT at 96.39, CSE (AI & ML) at 96.56, E&TC at 95.08, Electronics (VLSI) at 94.83, Mechanical at 93.74 and Civil at 93.45 (State CET Cell, Cut Off List for All India Seats, CAP Round I, 2026-27, cappublicdocs2026.blob.core.windows.net/documents/2026ENGG_CAP1_AI_CutOff.pdf). Neither the CET Cell nor PCCOE publishes a JEE rank cut-off, so compare your percentile with these figures, not your rank.

C. Institute-Level Seats (Management Quota)

PCCOE sets no minimum percentile for its 162 institute-level seats. Its notice says these admissions are made “strictly as per the Inter-Se-Merit of the candidates” who applied to the CET Cell and then to the institute, so it ranks every applicant and fills its seats from the top; its final institute-level merit list, dated 10 September 2026, listed 11,897 entries. Your place on that list against the seats left is what decides it. Applications closed on 7 September 2026 and the institute-level admission process was scheduled for 11 September, so if you applied, check your rank on that list. The fee is two or three times the approved CAP fee: ₹3,87,746 or ₹5,80,746 in year one, depending on the branch.
