Who we are

Our Story — Since 2014

FindUrCollege began in Pune in 2014 with one purpose: to make the college admission journey easier, clearer and more accessible for students and parents — the right college for the student in front of us, not just any college.

  1. 2014 — Founded in Pune. A counselling practice built on one gap we kept meeting: millions of students, thousands of colleges, and very little honest, transparent guidance on which seat was actually within reach.
  2. Growing with students. The counselling and college network expanded across Engineering, Medical, Management, Law, Design & Commerce, Allied Health and Study Abroad, with offices in Pune, Bangalore and Dubai and a named lead for each stream — the team you will meet below.
  3. Today. FindUrCollege helps students discover colleges, understand their admission routes — merit seats, counselling rounds, management and NRI quotas — and make informed decisions, from Class 10 through post-graduation. Counselling is free for students. Our editorial standard uses official sources and subject-matched reviewers, and we are auditing the guide library page by page.

How free counselling works

A focused process, not a sales pitch

Every conversation starts with your actual profile. The shortlist comes after the questions, not before them.

  1. Share your profile. Your marks or rank, the programme you want, your budget and preferred cities.
  2. Understand your routes. We explain the relevant exams, counselling rounds, eligibility and which admission pathways are actually open to you.
  3. Build a realistic shortlist. Options grouped by fit, affordability and the strength of your profile — including the colleges we think are not a sensible fit, and why.
  4. Act with a checklist. Clear next steps for applications, documents and the official verification each authority requires.

No counselling fee is charged to students, and we never ask for token money. Admission always depends on eligibility, official counselling rules and seat availability — no one can promise you a seat.

Quick Answer Is FindUrCollege's service really free for students? Yes. The initial consultation, profile assessment, college shortlisting, and counselling sessions are completely free for students and families. FindUrCollege earns from institutional partnerships with colleges — we receive a placement fee from colleges after a student successfully enrols through our facilitation.

How we verify

Our editorial & fact-checking process

Our audit standard uses official primary sources, named subject reviewers and clear dates. We are reviewing the existing guide library page by page against that standard.

  1. Official sources first

    Eligibility, seat matrices, fees and counselling rules come from official bodies — NMC, AICTE, UGC, NIRF, MCC, and state counselling authorities (KEA, CET cells, DME) — plus each college’s own published prospectus and fee circulars. Never unverified aggregators.

  2. Reviewed by a named expert

    The reviewer must match the subject. Shijin Joy covers MBBS and MD/MS–NEET PG; Hrithik Roy reviews NEET-PG and MD/MS articles as an Article Reviewer. Sushant Bora covers allied health, while the engineering, management, law and design profiles above identify their respective areas. Each guide names the person credited with its factual review.

  3. Bylined and dated

    Every guide we audit carries a visible “Written by / Reviewed by” byline and a dated update, so you know who stands behind the information and when it was last checked. We are working through the whole library to that standard, page by page.

  4. Refreshed each cycle

    During each page audit, fees, cutoffs and admission rules are checked against the source for the stated academic year. Unverified figures are omitted. Historical results remain explicitly labelled by year and round.

  5. Corrections welcome

    Spotted an error? Email the figure and source to support@findurcollege.com. We re-check it against the source document within 48 hours and correct errors. A substantive content change updates the page date; cosmetic fixes do not. See our editorial policy.

What is the best time to contact FindUrCollege for admissions guidance?
Contact us before making your college choices or paying admission fees. We can help you prepare a shortlist before results and review eligible options afterwards. The options available at any stage depend on the official deadlines and remaining seats.
Does FindUrCollege help with education loans?
We can help you understand education-loan documentation and compare questions to ask a lender. FindUrCollege does not issue loans or guarantee approval. The lender decides eligibility, interest, security requirements and sanction terms.
