These totals include the four heads printed above. They are not a four-year quote. Match the Karnataka/non-Karnataka COMEDK column correctly: the ₹1,800 difference is in VTU registration and other fees.

Separate Indian-student programme schedule

Read the column, not just the number. Acharya’s sheet heads its money columns “Year / Sem”, and it means different things in different parts of the same document — four YEAR columns for B.E., but eight SEMESTER columns for the design and allied-health programmes. For B.E. the figure above is per year. Read it as per semester and Computer Science would look like ₹34.8 lakh instead of ₹17.9 lakh. The total column is what settles it, which is why it is printed beside every row here.

The Indian-student sheet names no quota. Use the explicitly labelled Government/COMEDK schedule above for those allotted seats, and obtain the applicable written offer for an institution-level application.

Where the money actually changes. The gap between the cheapest and dearest B.E. here is ₹9,50,000 over four years, and it is entirely a branch decision, not a college decision. Computer Science, CS (AI), CS (Cyber Security) and AI&ML all sit at the top tier of ₹4,35,000 a year; Information Science and Aeronautical are ₹3,10,000; Mechanical, Civil, EEE, Mechatronics, AI & Robotics and Electric Vehicle Technology are ₹1,97,500. If the branch matters less to you than the bill, that spread is the number to plan around.

Acharya COMEDK cut-off ranks 2026 — all four rounds

📌 In one line: Computer Science closed at COMEDK rank 27,920 in Round 1 and had widened to 74,634 by the final round — so the rank that gets you in depends as much on WHEN you are allotted as on which branch you pick.

Round 2: no General Merit seat, but the college was not absent

COMEDK’s Round-2 document records no General-Merit allotment at all for Acharya — we read every E001 line in that file rather than assume a gap in our own parsing. What it does record is Kalyana-Karnataka (KKR) allotments in four branches. If you are a KKR-category candidate, Round 2 was open to you at this college even though the GM column is empty:

Do not read a KKR rank as a GM rank. Kalyana-Karnataka is a separate reserved seat type under Article 371(J) with its own, generally wider, closing ranks. The 1,03,664 above for Computer Science is a KKR figure; the GM figure for the same branch in the surrounding rounds runs from 27,920 to 74,634. Check which seat type your allotment is against before you read any cut-off as applying to you.

How to read this. A closing rank is the last COMEDK rank that actually received a seat in that branch in that round. It is an observed result, not a qualifying mark or a promise that every later round will close at a higher rank. Vacancies, eligible choices and the round rules can change the outcome. Computer Science moved from about 28,000 to about 75,000 across the cycle — the historical closing rank differed substantially between rounds. Quoting one round without naming the round is the single most common way these numbers get misread.

What the spread tells you. In Round 1 the three computing branches (CSE, Data Science, AI&ML) all closed within 300 ranks of one another, around 28,000, while Civil closed at 58,602 — roughly double. By Round 4 that ordering still holds but every gap is wider. For a GM rank in the 40,000s, the 2026 Round 1 CSE, Data Science and AI&ML closing ranks were numerically lower. Mechanical, Mechatronics and Civil closed at higher ranks in that same table. This is a retrospective comparison for a shortlist, not a declaration that a branch is currently available.

Evidence note: CS (AI), CS (Cyber Security), CS (Cloud & Full Stack), the three Information Science variants and Electric Vehicle Technology do not appear against E001 in any round’s GM column. That is not evidence Acharya does not run them — the college lists all of them in its own brochure.

COMEDK code, not the KEA code. Acharya is E001 in COMEDK’s documents and E079 in KEA’s. Searching one list with the other’s code finds nothing, which is not the same as the college being absent.

Acharya KCET cut-off ranks 2026 — all three KEA rounds

📌 In one line: on the KCET list, Computer Science closed at 21,183 in Round 1 and 48,160 by Round 3, while Civil ran from 79,401 all the way out to 2,12,092 — the branch you are willing to take matters more here than anything else.

These are KCET ranks, not COMEDK ranks — do not compare the two tables. KCET and COMEDK are separate examinations with separate rank lists and separate candidate pools. Computer Science shows 21,183 here and 27,920 in the COMEDK table above; neither number is “easier” than the other, because they are not measuring the same thing. Use the table that matches the exam you actually sat.

The displayed historical GM results moved between rounds. CSE closed at 21,183 in Round 1 and 48,160 in Round 3; Civil closed at 79,401 and 2,12,092 respectively. Use these specific results for shortlisting, not a guarantee of future rank movement.

One seat type, named. These are Rest of Karnataka ranks, which is the seat type most candidates from outside the Kalyana-Karnataka region are allotted against. KEA publishes a separate Hyderabad-Karnataka list with its own ranks. Check which seat type your allotment is against before you read any cut-off as applying to you.

KEA code, not the COMEDK code. Acharya is E079 in KEA’s documents and E001 in COMEDK’s. Searching one list with the other’s code finds nothing, which is not the same as the college being absent.

Acharya placements: institute outcomes and group figures

In one line: AIT’s engineering NIRF 2025 submission gives a ₹4.10 lakh median annual salary for placed UG four-year graduates in 2023-24; this is distinct from group-wide headline packages.

The median covers placed graduates, not every student. Higher-study selections are a separate outcome, not additional placements. These counts must not be merged into a placement rate. The reporting year NIRF 2025 must not be presented as a 2025 graduating batch.

Separately, the Acharya group brochure reports a 65 LPA highest package and 4,345+ students placed in 2025 across the group. Those figures do not describe AIT’s engineering batch alone. Recruiters named in Acharya’s material include Amazon, Infosys, Volvo, Dell, Bosch and Capgemini.

In one line: Acharya’s brochure describes 12 residences: five for boys and seven for girls, with capacity for about 1,500 residents across the shared campus.

It lists single, double and triple rooms, wardens, water, backup power, Wi-Fi and common facilities. Request the room-specific accommodation offer and confirm whether mess, deposits and transport are charged separately before comparing your total outlay.

B.E. eligibility and route

In one line: check the academic subject requirements and qualifying marks in the official bulletin for the route you use; eligibility permits an application, while rank and available seats decide allotment.

AIT’s B.E. routes include KCET through KEA and COMEDK UGET. Use the counselling authority’s admission-year rules for Class 12 subjects, qualifying percentage, reservation eligibility and verification documents.
