Quick Answer How do you get an MBBS seat at Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur? On NEET-UG merit through one of two separate lists — 15 All-India-Quota seats via MCC, which closed at AIR 13,729 for Open category in Round 1 of 2026, and 85 Uttar Pradesh state-quota seats via UP DGME, which need a UP domicile. The college publishes no fee sheet of its own; UP government tuition is set by state order, not by the institution. No management or NRI quota exists.

Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur MBBS fee 2026-27 — what is actually published

📌 In one line: Fatehpur’s own fee for 2026-27 is not listed — the college publishes no fee sheet, and we will not print a rupee figure it has not issued.

The college website (asmcfatehpur.com) carries an Academics page, but the documents on it are 2021 purchase-quotation notices, not a fee structure; no fee page exists anywhere in its menu. That is the honest state of the record on 23 August 2026, and it is why every figure you will see quoted for this college on aggregator sites should be treated as unsourced.

What is on the record is the order that governs the fee. Uttar Pradesh government medical college fees are set by state Government Order No. 2240/71-3-10-383/91 dated 20 August 2010. A sibling college under the same scheme, Autonomous State Medical College Kaushambi, cites that order on its own published 2026-27 sheet and applies it as ₹18,000 annual tuition for General candidates and ₹9,000 for OBC/SC/ST, with the same figures for All-India-Quota and state-quota candidates.

Do not read that as Fatehpur’s fee. It is Kaushambi’s document, and the heads beyond tuition — development, hostel, electricity, caution money — are set college by college, so the totals will not match. It tells you the order of magnitude and the governing order to ask about; it does not tell you what Fatehpur will demand. Get the fee demand in writing from the college at admission, and pay only against an official receipt.

What no UP government college charges: a management or NRI seat fee, because no such seat exists here. If a figure in lakhs is quoted to you for admission to this college, it is not a fee — it is a tout.

Official sources: asmcfatehpur.com (Academics and About Us pages), checked 23 August 2026 — no fee structure published. Governing order and comparator figures: Autonomous State Medical College Kaushambi, “Fee for MBBS Batch 2026-27”, asmckaushambi.in/fee-structure, captured 23 August 2026. Evidence note: fee documents are reissued every academic year; check the year printed on any sheet before budgeting from it.

Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur NEET-UG cutoff — MCC Round 1, 2026

📌 In one line: the last Open-category All-India Quota seat here went at All India Rank 13,729 in MCC’s first round of 2026.

MCC allotted 15 All-India-Quota MBBS seats at this college in Round 1 of 2026 — exactly 15% of the 100 seats the NMC seat matrix records for it, which is two independent official documents agreeing. Below are the best (opening) and worst (closing) All India Ranks allotted in each category in that round.

CategoryOpening AIRClosing AIRSeats allotted in Round 1
Open12,30513,7295
EWS14,43016,8602
OBC14,44815,8814
SC72,11075,6402
ST77,75977,7591
Open PwD4,57,6384,57,6381
All categories——15
  • This is not the Uttar Pradesh cutoff. These are All-India NEET-UG ranks under MCC counselling and they govern 15 seats. The other 85 are UP state-quota seats filled by UP DGME, whose closing ranks that authority publishes separately.
  • Round 1 is the toughest round of the cycle. Round 2, mop-up and stray vacancy close at worse — that is, higher — ranks, so a rank a little outside these numbers is not out of the running.
  • EWS closed later than OBC here. The EWS seats went at 16,860 against OBC’s 15,881 in the same round, which is the reverse of the order most rank predictors assume. It is one round at one college, not a trend — but it is a reason to fill both preferences rather than assume one is safer.
  • Read the PwD row on its own. PwD candidates are ranked on a separate merit list, so AIR 4,57,638 there cannot be set against the open ranks above it.
  • Provisional. MCC published this allotment as provisional, and a single-seat category shows the same opening and closing rank simply because one seat was allotted.

Official source: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), “Provisional NEET-UG Counselling Seats Allotment 2026 – Round 1”, published 21 August 2026 — institute listed as “Autonomous State Medical College Society, Fatehpur, Autonomous State Medical College Village chittaura near Allipur GT road fatehpur”. Sanctioned intake: National Medical Commission, “Seat Matrix as on 29.10.2025 (MBBS) for the AY 2025-26”, notice N-15029/09/2025-UGMEB, row 693. Evidence note: check the academic year beside any cutoff — these are 2026 Round-1 figures and are superseded within the same season.

Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur recognition & teaching hospital

Being one of Uttar Pradesh's newer government colleges (established 2021 under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme), ASMC Fatehpur delivers the NMC competency-based (CBME) MBBS curriculum through its own teaching hospital together with the associated Fatehpur District Hospital, where students complete their clinical rotations. As a recently commissioned college its NMC letter of permission is renewed annually against faculty and infrastructure norms, so always confirm the current NMC recognition and the sanctioned 100-seat intake on the National Medical Commission website for the admission year.

What is specific to Fatehpur — and what is the national rule

📌 In one line: only three things on this page are decided by Fatehpur — which domicile list you are on, where its clinical teaching actually happens, and what it has (and has not) published about money. The rest of NEET-UG admission is national, and we cover it once instead of repeating it here.

  • Uttar Pradesh domicile decides which list you are on. 85 of the 100 seats are state-quota seats filled by UP DGME through the UPUMS counselling and need a valid UP domicile; the other 15 are All-India-Quota seats filled by MCC and are open to a candidate from any state.
  • The teaching hospital is not on the campus. The college states on its own site that it was set up under Phase-2 of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme attaching a medical college to an existing district hospital, and that the district hospital is about 9 km away. Ask about the daily transport arrangement for clinical postings before you rank this college — it is a routine part of five years here, and it is the kind of detail that never appears in a fee table.
  • The college publishes no fee sheet. See the fee section above for what is and is not on the record.
  • There is no management, NRI or direct seat here. Every seat is a NEET-UG merit allotment through MCC or UP DGME, so there is nothing for an agent to sell.

Everything else — the 10+2 PCB requirement and the qualifying percentile, the age rule, the document checklist, and how Round 1, Round 2, mop-up and stray vacancy work — is set by the NMC, the NTA and the counselling authorities and is identical at every Indian medical college. Read it in full in our NEET-UG counselling guide: AIQ vs state quota, the documents for counselling checklist, the MBBS admission guide (course structure, internship and what follows the degree) and NEET 2026.

Fee support: Uttar Pradesh’s Samaj Kalyan fee-reimbursement scheme and the central post-matric scholarships apply to eligible SC/ST/OBC/EWS students at UP government colleges, and an education loan is taken against the allotment letter and the college’s fee demand — see our MBBS education loan guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur a government or private college?
Government. It was established in 2021 under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme that attaches a medical college to an existing district hospital, it is run by the UP Department of Medical Education, and all 100 seats are NEET-UG merit allotments — 15 through MCC and 85 through UP DGME. No management or NRI quota exists.
What are the MBBS fees at Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur?
Not listed. The college publishes no fee structure on asmcfatehpur.com, so we do not print a rupee figure for it. UP government medical college fees are set by state Government Order No. 2240/71-3-10-383/91 of 20 August 2010; a sibling college under the same scheme applies that order at ₹18,000 annual tuition for General candidates and ₹9,000 for OBC/SC/ST on its own 2026-27 sheet. Treat that as the order of magnitude, not as Fatehpur’s figure, and ask the college for its fee demand in writing.
Can students from outside Uttar Pradesh apply?
Yes — for the 15% All-India Quota via MCC. The 85% state quota is reserved for Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates.
Is the Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur MBBS degree NMC-recognised?
Yes. The National Medical Commission’s seat matrix as on 29 October 2025 lists the college with 100 MBBS seats, and the degree is awarded by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow. It is valid across India for NEET-PG and state council registration. Because the college is young its NMC permission is renewed year by year, so check the current year’s status on the NMC site before you lock choices.
Do I apply to Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur directly?
No. The college runs no MBBS application of its own. You register with MCC for the 15 All-India-Quota seats and with UP DGME for the 85 state-quota seats, and the college only sees you once a round allots you here. Anyone collecting an application fee on the college’s behalf is outside that process.
Is NEET-UG compulsory for admission to Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur?
Yes. NEET-UG is the only entrance route to every MBBS seat at Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur; there is no separate or management entrance exam.
How many MBBS seats does Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur have?
100. The NMC seat matrix as on 29 October 2025 records 100 MBBS seats for AY 2024-25 and 100 for AY 2025-26. Fifteen are All-India-Quota seats filled by MCC — which allotted exactly 15 here in Round 1 of 2026 — and the remaining 85 are Uttar Pradesh state-quota seats filled by UP DGME.
When was Autonomous State Medical College Fatehpur established and which university is it affiliated to?
It is a new state government college established in 2021 under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (medical colleges attached to district hospitals). Officially named Amar Shaheed Jodha Singh Attaiya Thakur Dariyao Singh Medical College, it is run by the UP Department of Medical Education and affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow.
What is the full official name of ASMC Fatehpur and which hospital is attached?
Its full official name is Amar Shaheed Jodha Singh Attaiya Thakur Dariyao Singh Medical College, Fatehpur (commonly Autonomous State Medical College, Fatehpur). Clinical training is delivered through the associated Fatehpur District Hospital and the college's own teaching hospital.
What NEET score do I need for Autonomous State Medical College Society Fatehpur?
In MCC Round 1 of 2026 the All-India-Quota seats here closed at All India Rank 13,729 (Open), 15,881 (OBC), 16,860 (EWS), 75,640 (SC) and 77,759 (ST). Those are provisional Round-1 All-India ranks — later MCC rounds close at worse ranks, and the 85 Uttar Pradesh state-quota seats close at ranks published separately by UP DGME.
How far is the teaching hospital from the college?
About 9 km. The college states on its own About Us page that it was established under Phase-2 of the Centrally Sponsored Scheme to attach a medical college to the existing district hospital, which is roughly 9 km from the college. Clinical postings run there, so ask about the transport arrangement before you rank this college — it is a daily reality for five years and it appears in no fee table or brochure.
Fatehpur or another Autonomous State Medical College — how do I choose between them?
On the closing rank and the hospital, not the name. Uttar Pradesh’s Autonomous State Medical Colleges each run 100 seats under the same state fee order, so fee is rarely the differentiator. In MCC Round 1 of 2026 the Open All-India-Quota seat at Fatehpur closed at AIR 13,729 against 16,819 at Kaushambi, making Fatehpur the harder of the two that round. Clinical exposure differs too: Kaushambi teaches through the district hospital at Manjhanpur, whereas Fatehpur’s associated district hospital is about 9 km from the college.

Where a Fatehpur seat is actually won or lost

Every seat here is a NEET-UG merit allotment. There is no management, NRI or paid quota at this college, so nobody can sell you one. What decides the outcome is the choice list: the 15 MCC seats and the 85 UP DGME seats are two separate lists closing at different ranks, and the same score can win on one and miss on the other.

Our Premium NEET-UG Counselling builds that list with you — rank- and category-wise probability for Fatehpur alongside realistic back-ups, an MCC and UP DGME choice order, a round-by-round upgrade plan, and a domicile and document check before a technicality costs you the seat.
