Nothing in this table should be multiplied by 4.5. ₹12,000 of the printed total is charged once — the ₹2,000 admission fee and ₹10,000 caution money — and the caution money is refundable. At the published rates the recurring annual cost is ₹28,800 for a General candidate and ₹19,800 for OBC/SC/ST. The sheet lists no mess charge, so food is a separate budget line, and the ₹2,400 hostel fee is the double-occupancy rate.

• Category changes the tuition line and nothing else. OBC/SC/ST tuition is ₹9,000 against ₹18,000; every other head on the sheet is charged at the same rate to all categories.
