IGIMS All India and Bihar counselling
The 22 All India Quota seats use the MCC route; the 128 state seats are handled through Bihar’s UGMAC process. Applicants need NEET-UG qualification and must meet the applicable eligibility and certificate conditions.
Use MCC UG counselling notices for AIQ and the Bihar UGMAC 2026 prospectus for state eligibility, reservation and reporting requirements. Compare your NEET AIR with the corresponding allotted category in the MCC tables, not with a state merit number.
Preparing for IGIMS admission
Prepare the authority’s allotment letter, NEET documents, school and date-of-birth records, identity proof and the certificates required for your eligibility and allotted category. Follow the current UGMAC or MCC reporting instructions for originals, copies and institution formalities.
When budgeting, retain the IGIMS category label used in the official fee letter. A fee quoted for another Bihar government college or a different admission category is not an IGIMS fee schedule.
