Mysore MBBS seats and the management-quota question
Use MCC for the All India Quota and KEA for eligible Karnataka counselling choices. The NMC intake of 250 describes the college’s approved annual intake in the cited matrix, not the number left vacant in a later round.
MMCRI’s 2026–27 admission instructions explicitly state that management seats are not available because it is a government college. A management-fee column in a broad KEA fee document is not proof that such seats are offered at this college.

This annual KEA fee is not an all-inclusive course cost. MMCRI’s 2026–27 reporting packet also prints a college admission-fee total of ₹72,050 for AIQ students, comprising tuition, university and college charges. The packet cites a 2024 government order for that sheet. Treat the reporting total as a payment-stage figure; do not add it in full to the KEA annual figure as though the tuition and university components were separate charges twice.

MMCRI reporting: originals, copies and digital files
The 2026–27 instructions call for original certificates, two sets of attested copies and scanned files. Keep certificates as separate PDF files and photographs as JPG files on a pen drive. The checklist includes the NEET admit card and score/rank record, allotment letter, SSLC/date-of-birth and Class 12 records, study certificate, transfer certificate and identity evidence.
Migration and RGUHS eligibility documents are listed for the specified CBSE/ICSE and AIQ cases. Category, income, rural/Kannada-medium and other reservation certificates apply to the claim made. The checklist also includes medical fitness, undertakings and the prescribed rural-service bond.

Admission for MBBS: joining preparation in Mysuru
MMCRI advises allowing two working days for the admission process. Its instructions say that original certificates are retained until the end of the course, so keep your own copies and an acknowledgement of submission. The college also asks students to retain the mobile number and email used for admission throughout the course because university communications and examination access use them.
For counselling choices, keep the KEA and MCC results separate. An MCC Open closing AIR does not establish the Karnataka state-category cutoff. Register with the relevant authority, complete document verification and enter the exact college/category option shown there.
