Is there a management quota at Sharda? The university says no

Sharda answers this itself, and it is worth quoting rather than paraphrasing. Its own admission FAQ: “Is there any management quota? No. We only have the following two quotas — i) General quota: admissions are based on the ranking obtained by the student in the entrance exam conducted by Sharda University. ii) Foreign/NRI quota: admissions are based on merit and as per the marks/grades obtained in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.” And on the same page: “Is there any capitation fee? No.”

So there are two quotas, not a management seat among them, and the Foreign/NRI one is a genuine category for overseas applicants — not a paid domestic back-door. “Direct admission” and “institutional quota” return zero hits across all 354 pages of sharda.ac.in.
