MCC’s 2026 Round 1 seat matrix lists 125 MBBS seats at AIIMS Bilaspur under Open Seat Quota. The final Open-category closing AIRs are 2,260 in Round 1, 2,455 in Round 2 and 2,575 in Round 3. The institute’s August 2026 reporting notice specifies a ₹5,856 academic and hostel admission payment.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur is in Changar Palasiyan, Himachal Pradesh. Use MCC institute code 200530 to identify it in the seat matrix and distinguish it from colleges in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. MBBS admission uses NEET-UG and MCC’s AIIMS route; a Himachal Pradesh state-counselling application does not replace MCC registration.
Keep the three sources separate: the seat matrix describes the available allocation at the start of counselling, the round results record allotments, and the institute notice explains eligibility, reporting and payment. An allotment count is not a fresh statement of annual intake.
AIIMS Bilaspur MBBS seat matrix and quotas: 2026
The MCC 2026 Round 1 matrix, PDF pages 74–75, lists the following allocation. All nine rows belong to Open Seat Quota; that quota includes reserved categories and must not be confused with the Open allotted category.
| MCC category | Seats |
|---|---|
| Open (OP NO) | 48 |
| Open PwD (OP PH) | 3 |
| OBC (BC NO) | 33 |
| OBC PwD (BC PH) | 1 |
| EWS (EW NO) | 12 |
| EWS PwD (EW PH) | 1 |
| SC (SC NO) | 17 |
| SC PwD (SC PH) | 1 |
| ST (ST NO) | 9 |
| Total | 125 |
This dated allocation is not a live vacancy list. The cited matrix contains no separate Himachal Pradesh state, management or NRI quota for Bilaspur. MCC’s 2026 bulletin, AIIMS chapter, describes the route as domicile-free.
AIIMS Bilaspur MBBS fees: the 2026 admission payment
The institute’s 14 August 2026 reporting notice, PDF page 4, specifies ₹5,856 under payment of academic and hostel fees, after medical fitness is declared. This is an admission payment, not an annual tuition rate or an all-inclusive five-year MBBS cost.
| Item | Published instruction |
|---|---|
| Academic and hostel admission payment | ₹5,856 |
| Payment stage | After declaration of medical fitness |
| Methods listed | UPI or demand draft |
| Demand-draft payee | Miscellaneous Fund, AIIMS Bilaspur, payable at Bilaspur (HP) |
| Hostel allocation | After submission of the fee |
Budgeting for hostel, mess and the full course
Keep the published admission payment separate from recurring living expenses. For a personal budget, list meals, travel, books, instruments and day-to-day spending separately; multiplying ₹5,856 by five does not establish the institute’s whole-course bill. Retain the official payment receipt and use the institute’s reporting instructions for the payment process.

Scope: Round 1 counts MBBS allotments in that final result. Round 2 and Round 3 count fresh allotments and upgraded allotments into this college in the respective final result; retained seats, earlier-round-only records and candidates who did not fill fresh choices are excluded. Categories are the allotted seat categories, not the candidates' categories.
Reading the figures: Record counts are not approved intake, vacancies or confirmed admissions. Compare the same quota and allotted category across rounds. These historical allotment ranks do not guarantee a seat in another round or year.
Official sources: MCC 2026 Round 1 final result; MCC 2026 Round 2 final result; MCC 2026 Round 3 final result. Each row links to the PDF page containing its closing AIR.
How to use these cut off ranks
Read your applicable category and compare the same quota across rounds. PwD rows use the result’s All India Rank column too; eligibility and reservation conditions differ, so their closing AIRs are not interchangeable with non-PwD rows. A previous closing rank cannot promise a future seat.
The table includes fresh or upgraded allotments for each round; it does not count a retained earlier allotment as a new admission. Those record counts do not establish intake or vacancies, even when a count matches the 125-seat matrix. A rank-to-marks conversion also needs the relevant year’s score distribution; do not treat an AIR as a NEET score.
AIIMS Bilaspur eligibility and Class 12 requirements
NEET qualification and academic eligibility are separate checks. Bilaspur’s own 2026 reporting notice, page 1, requires the following aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology:
- 60% or more under the general requirement.
- 50% for SC/ST candidates.
- 45% for persons with benchmark disability.
The four-subject aggregate includes English. The notice does not set a lower academic percentage for OBC candidates. These are Class 12 requirements, not the NEET qualifying percentile or the college closing AIR. Category eligibility and supporting certificates must also satisfy the applicable admission instructions.
AIIMS Bilaspur admission process through MCC
- Check eligibility: qualify NEET-UG and satisfy the institute’s academic and category requirements.
- Register for MCC counselling: complete the official registration and applicable counselling payment.
- Choose the correct institute: enter AIIMS Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh in your preference list alongside other colleges you would accept.
- Read the allotment and round rules: follow the applicable joining, upgrade and resignation instructions. MCC describes Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and stray-vacancy rounds.
- Report to the institute: complete original-document verification, medical examination and the specified admission payment.
Use MCC’s UG counselling notice page for changing schedules and the official AIIMS Bilaspur website for reporting updates. A counselling adviser cannot allot, reserve or guarantee an AIIMS seat.
Reporting documents and medical examination
The 2026 institute checklist asks for originals and two sets of copies. It includes:
- NEET application/confirmation page, original prints of the admit card and scorecard, and the MCC provisional allotment letter.
- Date-of-birth evidence, Class 12 pass certificate and marks statement, and migration certificate from the previous board or university.
- Identity evidence, an Aadhaar photocopy and four passport-size photographs.
- Applicable category certificates and a gap-certificate affidavit where relevant.
- For OBC-NCL claims, the prescribed central-list and non-creamy-layer evidence; for PwBD claims, certification and assessment from the designated authorities.
The notice states that original certificates are retained until course completion. Keep your own copies and document-submission acknowledgement. Read the applicable certificate-format and validity instructions before reporting.
Allow time for joining formalities
The notice specifically advises candidates to be prepared for an additional day because joining and medical examination may continue into the next day. Academic and hostel payment follows declaration of medical fitness, and hostel allotment follows payment. Avoid planning departure around an assumed same-day completion.
AIIMS Bilaspur campus, location and academic history
The institute’s official About page distinguishes the foundation-stone date, 3 October 2017, from the first academic session, 12 January 2021, which began with 50 MBBS students. These dates describe different milestones and should not be treated as the same establishment event.
That institutional description gives a campus area of 247 acres and a 750-bed hospital in the completed first phase. Bed capacity does not by itself measure patient flow or guarantee a particular level of clinical exposure. For travel planning, use the official postal location: Village Changar Palasiyan, AIIMS Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, 174037.
AIIMS Bilaspur vs AIIMS Rishikesh and other options

Our AIIMS Rishikesh MBBS guide is a separate college profile; the Himachal Pradesh MBBS guide covers the wider state-college context.
Postgraduate study and careers
An MBBS allotment does not guarantee a postgraduate seat, scholarship, job or placement package. Use the relevant postgraduate prospectus for its eligibility and selection rules; the AIIMS examinations portal publishes institute examination information. Build a shortlist around verifiable course and admission information, rather than promised outcomes.
