Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology (JUET) is one of the four Jaypee Group universities (with JIIT Noida, JUIT Solan and JU Anoopshahr). FindUrCollege is an official channel partner: applications on this page go directly to the university’s own admission portal.
Why choose JUET Guna?
JUET in Raghogarh (Guna, MP) is the core-engineering campus of the Jaypee group — alongside CSE-group programmes it runs ECE, ECE with VLSI Design & Technology, Mechanical, Mechanical & Mechatronics (Additive Manufacturing), Civil and Chemical Engineering, and is the only Jaypee university with a 3-year Diploma you can join straight after Class 10. The single-figure academic fee (₹2,42,000/yr all-in for B.Tech) makes budgeting simpler than year-wise escalating structures.
Our counsellor view: pick JUET for core branches (Mechanical/Civil/Chemical/VLSI) at a mid fee with the strongest scholarship maths in the group — a 90%+ board score effectively refunds ₹3.3 lakh of tuition over four years. Defence-family students get a double benefit here: a 10% seat quota plus a 30% tuition concession.
Location & reach: the campus sits at Raghogarh on the AB (Agra–Bombay) Road in Guna district, on the rail and highway corridor between Gwalior and Bhopal — a self-contained residential campus where the ₹84,000-a-semester hostel (food and laundry included) is the default living arrangement for outstation students. Families from UP, Rajasthan and Maharashtra reach it via Guna railway station; postal applications go to the Admission Cell at the campus address.

Admission Routes 2026 — Explained
1. JEE Main 2026 rank mode
Merit on JEE Main 2026 AIR only; counselling intimation 26 May 2026 and common online counselling on 3 Jun 2026 (Round 1 shared by all four Jaypee universities). Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics + Maths, 60% aggregate (55% SC/ST); Chemistry is compulsory for Civil, Chemical and Mechanical programmes.
2. 10+2 merit mode (university counselling)
Seats remaining after the JEE round are filled on 10+2 merit (3-subject aggregate) through JUET-level counselling roughly 10 days after CBSE/MP Board results. On allotment you block the seat with ₹60,000 partial academic fee, adjusted into semester-1 dues, then pay the balance by the offer-letter date.
3. Diploma after Class 10 — and lateral entry
The 3-year Diploma (₹86,000/yr, application just ₹200) admits on 10th marks with Science and Maths; ITI holders can enter Diploma 2nd year. Diploma/BSc/B.Voc graduates (45%+; 40% SC/ST) and B.Tech 1st-year transfers can join B.Tech 2nd year via lateral entry — applications by 27 Jun 2026.
4. NRI category
10+2-marks based (application ₹1,500), academic fee USD 5,500/yr and hostel USD 1,150/semester; NRI admits cannot later switch to the general category.

Counselling 2026: How It Actually Works
JEE-mode counselling is intimated on 26 May 2026 and held online on 3 Jun 2026 — Round 1 is common to all four Jaypee universities, with later rounds run by JUET against vacancies. In the 10+2 mode, counselling is intimated about 7 days after board results and held about 3 days later; merit is drawn on your 3-subject 10+2 aggregate. On allotment you deposit ₹60,000 partial academic fee (adjusted into semester-1 dues, or held as waitlist fee until a seat is offered), receive a provisional admission letter by email, and confirm by paying the balance by the due date.
Choices submitted in the form decide your allotment, so order branch preferences carefully — the brochure allows choice amendment until the counselling lock date. All communication is to your registered email and mobile.

Brochure Fine Print You Should Not Miss
- Your registered email and mobile drive the process. Counselling intimation, provisional admission letters and balance-fee deadlines all arrive there — keep both active through the season.
- ₹60,000 blocks the seat. It adjusts into semester-1 dues if admitted, or is held as waitlist fee until a seat is offered; pay the balance by the offer-letter date or the seat lapses.
- Apply in both modes. JEE-mode and 10+2-mode are separate applications with separate fees — both recommended for branch protection.
- Dates follow the boards. The 10+2-mode calendar moves with CBSE/MP-Board result declarations — the printed dates can shift.
- Admission is final at one campus — no inter-Jaypee transfer later.
- NRI is a one-way category. NRI admits cannot convert to the general fee category in later years.
- Anti-ragging: UGC anti-ragging regulations apply, with affidavits at registration.
Strategy: Getting This Admission Right
1. Core-branch students: do the scholarship maths. On covered branches a 90%+ board score is worth ₹3.3 lakh over four years — effectively a year-and-a-third of tuition back.
2. Defence families: stack both benefits. The 10% ward quota and the 30–35% tuition concession are separate provisions — claim both with service documents.
3. After Class 10, consider the Diploma ladder. Diploma (₹200 application) → lateral entry into B.Tech 2nd year is the cheapest route into a Jaypee B.Tech.
4. Watch MP Board timing. 10+2-mode dates track result declarations — if boards run late, the calendar shifts; keep checking your registered email.
A note on placements: the official supplementary brochure does not publish placement statistics for this campus, and we do not quote numbers we cannot verify. Ask the admission cell for the latest signed placement report during counselling, and use JIIT Noida’s published outcomes as the group benchmark while comparing. Our counsellors track outcomes across the Jaypee campuses and can give you a frank, family-level read on the trade-off between fee, branch and likely placement market before you lock a seat.
Which Jaypee university should you pick?
All four campuses share one Round-1 JEE counselling, one application fee, and the same group DNA — but they differ sharply on fees, location and programme mix. As a quick ladder on B.Tech cost: JU Anoopshahr ≈ ₹1.55L/yr (budget pick, western UP), JUET Guna ≈ ₹2.42L/yr (core branches + Diploma after 10th, MP), JUIT Solan ≈ ₹3.29L/yr (computing + biosciences, Himachal hill campus), and JIIT Noida ≈ ₹3.6L/yr (the flagship, in the NCR placement market). Remember: admission once taken is final and non-transferable between Jaypee universities, so pick the campus — not just the brand — before counselling day. Our counsellors can compare all four against your rank, board score and budget on a free call.
