Jaypee University Anoopshahr (JUA) is one of the four Jaypee Group universities (with JIIT Noida, JUIT Solan and JUET Guna). FindUrCollege is an official channel partner: applications on this page go directly to the university’s own admission portal.
Why choose JU Anoopshahr?
Jaypee University Anoopshahr (Bulandshahr, western UP — roughly two hours from Noida) is the budget campus of the Jaypee group: B.Tech in CSE, Robotics & AI or EE (VLSI) costs ₹1,55,000/yr — less than half of JUIT and around 60% of JUET — while BA/BCom/BSc run at just ₹31,000/yr average. It is also the broadest campus by programme mix, spanning B.Tech, BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA, MBA and MCA, with optional 4th-year Honours on UG degrees.
Our counsellor view: JUA makes sense when the Jaypee engineering brand matters but the family budget is tight, or for commerce/management students who want a residential university at small-town costs. NRI students pay the same fee as Indian students here — unusual in this segment.
Location & reach: Anoopshahr is a Ganga-side town in Bulandshahr district, western Uttar Pradesh — roughly a hundred kilometres from Delhi-NCR, which keeps it accessible for NCR families while costs stay at small-town levels. With hostel at ₹78,750 a year including food and laundry, the realistic all-in cost of a B.Tech here (tuition + hostel + JYC) stays near ₹2.35 lakh a year — about what tuition alone costs at JUET, and well under tuition alone at JUIT or JIIT Noida.

Admission Routes 2026 — Explained
1. JEE Main 2026 rank mode (50% of B.Tech seats)
Merit on JEE Main 2026 AIR; counselling intimation 1 May and common online Round 1 on 7 May 2026 run by JIIT Noida for all four universities; later rounds at the Anoopshahr campus. Candidates who passed 10+2 in 2024/2025 or are appearing in 2026 are eligible.
2. 10+2 / CUET-UG merit mode (50% of B.Tech seats)
The remaining half of B.Tech seats are filled on 10+2 marks or CUET-UG score, with counselling at the campus (apply by 30 Jun 2026, counselling 7 Jul 2026). If you already filed the common JEE form, the 10+2-mode application costs nothing extra. Provisional admits must submit proof of passing by 30 Sep 2026.
3. Other UG and PG programmes
BA, BCom, BSc, BBA and BCA admit on 10+2 merit; MBA and MCA on graduation merit (application ₹500, last date 30 Jun 2026). Lateral entry into B.Tech 2nd year is open to Diploma/BSc/B.Tech-1st-year candidates (₹1,200).
4. NRI / international students
Fee structure is at par with Indian students (paid via NRE/foreign account), though scholarships do not apply to NRI admits. Hostel, caution money and JYC charges may be paid in INR equivalent.

Counselling 2026: How It Actually Works
JEE-mode counselling is intimated on 1 May 2026 with the common online Round 1 on 7 May 2026 (run by JIIT Noida for all four universities); subsequent rounds happen at the Anoopshahr campus. The 10+2/CUET-UG mode is counselled on campus — apply by 30 Jun, counselling on 7 Jul 2026 — with merit on aggregate percentage. Provisionally admitted candidates pay an advance fee to reserve the seat and must produce proof of passing the qualifying exam by 30 September 2026, failing which the admission cancels automatically with no extensions.
All admissions are verified against original documents; an ineligible candidate discovered later loses the seat. As across the group, every intimation goes to the email in your application form — keep it personal and active.

Brochure Fine Print You Should Not Miss
- 30 September 2026 is a hard deadline. Provisional admits must produce proof of passing the qualifying exam by then — the admission cancels automatically otherwise, and the brochure rules out extensions.
- One JEE form covers all four universities — and at JUA it also waives the separate ₹1,200 fee for the 10+2-mode B.Tech application.
- Advance fee reserves the seat. Pay by the date in the provisional offer letter or the seat is released.
- Merit is strictly order-of-marks. Seats are allotted in order of aggregate percentage (or CUET-UG score) — verify your form entries; originals are checked at admission.
- Admission is final at one campus — no inter-Jaypee transfer later; vacant seats inter-transfer between categories.
- NRI fee parity, but no scholarships. NRI students pay Indian-level fees via NRE/foreign account, without scholarship eligibility.
- Application fee is non-refundable; academic-fee refunds follow UGC/AICTE norms.
Strategy: Getting This Admission Right
1. File the JEE form first. It covers all four universities for ₹1,200 — and at JUA the separate 10+2-mode application then costs nothing extra.
2. Use CUET-UG if your boards underperformed. JUA is the one Jaypee campus accepting CUET-UG for the merit channel — submit whichever score ranks you higher.
3. Scholarship stacking is generous here. A 95%+ scorer from a Jaypee school with a defence background qualifies across three separate concessions — ask the admission cell which combination applies.
4. Respect the 30 September proof deadline. Provisional admission cancels automatically without it — no representations entertained.
A note on placements: the official supplementary brochure does not publish placement statistics for this campus, and we do not quote numbers we cannot verify. Ask the admission cell for the latest signed placement report during counselling, and use JIIT Noida’s published outcomes as the group benchmark while comparing. Our counsellors track outcomes across the Jaypee campuses and can give you a frank, family-level read on the trade-off between fee, branch and likely placement market before you lock a seat.
Which Jaypee university should you pick?
All four campuses share one Round-1 JEE counselling, one application fee, and the same group DNA — but they differ sharply on fees, location and programme mix. As a quick ladder on B.Tech cost: JU Anoopshahr ≈ ₹1.55L/yr (budget pick, western UP), JUET Guna ≈ ₹2.42L/yr (core branches + Diploma after 10th, MP), JUIT Solan ≈ ₹3.29L/yr (computing + biosciences, Himachal hill campus), and JIIT Noida ≈ ₹3.6L/yr (the flagship, in the NCR placement market). Remember: admission once taken is final and non-transferable between Jaypee universities, so pick the campus — not just the brand — before counselling day. Our counsellors can compare all four against your rank, board score and budget on a free call.
