Why two different fee letters sit on the college’s own website — and which one governs. Download both and you will find figures that differ by more than double, which is exactly the trap this page exists to close. The letter filed 4 August 2025 (Ref HMCH/545/25) prints ₹31,00,000 a year and is headed “Fee details for 50% paid seats”, because at that moment the Health Department, Government of Bihar had ordered (letter No. 734(1) dated 29-07-2025) that the first 50% of seats in private medical colleges be charged at government-college rates. The letter filed 12 August 2025 (Ref HMCH/563/25) prints ₹15,50,000 a year for General & Minority with no 50/50 split, cites the Patna High Court interim order of 05.08.2025, and says in its own first note: “Our earlier submitted fee structure stand modified to this extent.” The later letter is the operative one. Note that the file named “Revised Fee Structure” on the college website is the earlier letter — go by the Ref number and the date on the page, not the filename.
The bond that is not in the fee table. Note 7 of the 12 August letter requires the candidate, at the time of admission and while paying only the first year, to furnish a Bank Guarantee or Bond covering tuition and development fees for the remaining period of the course. On the ₹15,50,000 figure that is a commitment of roughly ₹54 lakh of future tuition secured up front, over and above the ₹20.16 lakh cash. Families who budget only for year one are the ones caught out at the reporting desk.
Evidence note: these figures are the session 2025-26 filing made for UGMAC-2025. The same letter states the fee is subject to further orders of the Supreme Court or the Patna High Court and may change on an order of the Educational Fee Fixation Committee, Bihar.
