Why the two KEM admission totals differ

In the linked 2025–26 degree-admission document, the payment total is ₹1,71,628 for MUHS graduates and ₹1,82,128 for other-university graduates. The ₹10,500 difference comes from the enrolment amounts: ₹4,050 and ₹14,550 respectively. It is not evidence that the two groups have different annual tuition. The ₹590 form charge is listed separately.

Use the graduate category that applies to your documents when preparing the admission payment. Then read the one-year service obligation and ₹50 lakh default liability separately from tuition and deposits. These are different financial commitments. A shared, limited hostel provision also should not be treated as a guaranteed room when planning a move to Parel.

Seth GSMC’s 2025–26 PG admission instructions give the following MD/MS degree-course payment. These are historical admission amounts, not a 2026–27 quotation or a three-year course total. The university of your MBBS degree changes the enrolment charge.

KEM service bond and residential accommodation

The 2025–26 instructions, PDF page 2, state a one-year Government of Maharashtra service obligation after MD/MS/Diploma, or a ₹50 lakh default penalty with interest if applicable. The same document treats seat lapse and failure to complete junior residency separately; do not combine those clauses into a single service-bond amount.

Residential quarters are limited; page 3 says shared accommodation is provided according to availability. Hostel allocation therefore should not be treated as guaranteed.

These historical NEET-PG 2025 All India Ranks (AIR) are calculated from MCC’s final allotment results. Compare the same campus, MD/MS specialty, quota and allotted-seat category. Opening is the lowest numerical AIR and closing is the highest within that group; neither is an exam qualifying score or a 2026 prediction.

Round 2 and Round 3 tables count only fresh or upgraded allotments in that round. A previous-round seat shown as retained without a new allotment is excluded. “Open” is the allotted-seat category, including eligible reserved-category candidates who received an Open seat. Allotment records are not approved intake, vacancies or students who joined; do not add rounds together to calculate seats.

NRI, institutional, minority and other restricted quotas have their own eligibility rules; a historical rank does not establish eligibility or guarantee allotment.

MD/MS eligibility and the correct admission route

NEET-PG applicants require the recognised MBBS qualification or eligible provisional pass certificate, the required medical registration and completion of the compulsory internship by the admission-year eligibility deadline. A qualifying percentile is an examination threshold; it is different from the AIR of the last allotted candidate in a particular college branch.

MCC for All India Quota; Maharashtra State CET Cell for state PG counselling. Government MD/MS admission is through the authorised counselling route; an agent cannot sell an allotment outside that process. State or university quota eligibility is not established merely by qualifying NEET-PG.
